Stress & Trauma Release Yoga With Sound Healing

A guided experience to release tension, reset your nervous system, and restore balance.

This 90 to 120-minute class is designed to help the body release stored physical and emotional stress by working with the psoas muscle—a deep core muscle that plays a key role in how we hold and process tension. Whether you're an athlete, experiencing chronic pain, or carrying stress from daily life, this practice encourages deep release and relaxation.

Inspired by Trauma Release Exercises (TRE) developed by David Berceli, PhD, this class guides you through a series of movements that allow your body to naturally discharge stress and tension. The session concludes with a restorative sound healing experience using crystal bowls, chimes, Tibetan bowls, wave drums, and gongs, helping to:

  • Encourage deep relaxation and nervous system regulation

  • Break repetitive thought patterns and create mental space

  • Support emotional and physical release without force or rehashing past experiences

  • Promote balance and healing on a cellular level

Typically; dress in comfortable moveable layers, bring water and a journal and pen. a yoga mat, blanket and anything that bring comfort.
